She walks with sun rays and the U.S. Capitol Building at her back as a ring of stars encircles the field. She carries an olive branch in one hand and a torch in the other.

The reverse of 2024 1/2 oz Gold Eagle Coins comes with a modernized image of the American bald eagle. Created in 2020 by Jennie Norris, this image of the head of the bald eagle in left-profile relief debuted on the coins in 2021.
